Here are the instructions on how to put it on your kitty!

UPDATE: My kitty hatched this in just minutes after wearing it for 4.5 days. During that time, the collar had slipped down and was around his shoulders more than his neck, allowing him to get out easily. It can be worth checking the fit daily to make sure the collar isn't falling too low. I still think it's a good product, just keep an eye out for this issue. My cat is about 13.5 pounds and the large size is a little tight, but the fabric has stretch and is comfortable to the touch. And the bite on his stomach, which he kept licking, began to heal. There are NO instructions on how to put this thing on - I had to look at the pictures in other reviews to find out. I did it that way. The Velcro runs up the cat's spine, and what looks like a sweatshirt collar is actually a collar that goes around the cat's neck. 1) Open the Velcro fully and place the jumpsuit on the bed or floor next to where your cat is resting. I did this on my bed so I didn't have to bend down too much. Make sure the bottom of the jumpsuit is facing you and the rear leg openings are closest to you. 2) Gently take the kitten in one hand and hold her so that she's basically standing on her hind legs right next to the unbuttoned jumpsuit. .3) With the other hand, carefully lift the cat's left hind leg slightly over the mattress and thread it through the appropriate hole in the overall. Walk slowly, be patient, and talk softly and lovingly to the kitten as you do this - this is a strange experience for her and you want her to be calm, happy and not nervous! I basically held him tight against my body and my heart was in his as I calmly told him about it. 4) Repeat for the right hind leg. 5) Slowly and carefully slide the jumpsuit up far enough to place the left front paw. through the appropriate hole. 6) Place the collar opening over the cat's head, always moving slowly and gently, telling your kitty how good he is and how it will help him get better! 7) Pass the right front paw through the appropriate hole. hole.8) Adjust the jumpsuit just enough to cover the velcro - it doesn't have to be perfect. Just close it and let your cat get used to wearing it. Opening the velcro is REALLY noisy and some cats might be nervous so don't fiddle with the velcro just yet. 9) If you put it on him, good luck! Don't worry about adjusting the fit - the cat will do it for you as long as it moves a little. After the kitten wears the jumpsuit for a few hours and gets used to it, you can adjust the Velcro as you like. His hind legs were trimmed after I clipped a nail too short YEARS ago. But he let me do it and he seems to really like wearing it - like the tube vest, I think he gets the feeling of an all-consuming hug from it. (Although my two cats really didn't like the Thunderbolt shirt - I think it was too tight and they never seemed to get used to it.) Be as warm as usual when you wear it. If it's winter, make sure your cat has a heated bed or other way to stay warm while wearing this item. I bought two of these so I can wash one while he wears the other. So far it seems to be working fine. He can eat, drink, litter, and groom himself without disturbing his wound. I think for really big cats size L might be a bit small. Very happy with this product.
