I have been dying my hair platinum for 30 years. Sometimes I go to the salon and sometimes I do it myself at home. When applied in its own color, this toner delivers an incredible platinum finish. It doesn't grab or leave purple stains like T18. This is flat platinum. I also use the Schwarzkopf Blonde me Lightening Powder with their 30 Volume Developer. I should note that I am a natural blonde so for me the face lift is easy and I only have to do one procedure and I am platinum. I highly recommend that if you have brunette or red hair that you see a professional to get you a platinum blonde. This is impossible to do at home without experience, you will only irreparably ruin your hair and will not achieve color. I do not recommend this product unless you are light brunette or naturally blonde. It will likely take many uses to process and your hair will eventually be fried. Please do yourself a favor and spend your money at the salon. Because if you have dark hair and try to go platinum yourself, you still end up in a salon and pay to have someone do your color correction. And you are likely to lose a lot of hair due to hair breakage. At home, blonde, especially platinum, is very difficult to achieve. It costs money to have it done by a professional. I've seen a lot of bad videos on YouTube. Lol But if we're already blondes and already know how to make platinum at home, this is the best tonic I've ever used.
