I have been dying my hair platinum for 30 years. Sometimes I go to the salon and sometimes I do it myself at home. When applied in its own color, this toner delivers an incredible platinum finish. This product was pretty awful, I'm pretty sure I got an old batch because it was white until I got to the last third of the tube which came out with some brown and black mixed. Also, it was almost too thick to mix with developer, I actually had to break it up with a brush to mix it. It didn't work and was a waste of time and work on my hair. At the moment I'm looking for a toner that works which is unfortunate because I was hoping to stick with the Schwarzkopf Blondme line as I can't say enough

I have been using this toner for many years so I know what it should look like. Something was wrong with that pipe. It came out of the tube as a clear/translucent gel. It was NOT ice cream! My worst nightmare has come true! The box said "ICE" but when I squeezed it out a reddish gel came out instead of the usual greyish cream. Fantastic toner! I had highlights, highlights and a muddy brown base. I had to bleach my hair four times to get a consistent color. but was still yellow and orange from the stubborn dye. I've tried Wella T18 a few times and it didn't tint at all. I used to be lucky with Wella, but not anymore. Since I use Schwarzkopf BlondeMe bleach powder and developer, I tried ice toner. I've been using this product for two years now, it has always worked so well and the consistency was like white cream when it came out of the tube. This last time came out translucent and grayish, very runny and didn't mix well with the developer. As a result, my hair turned gray! As I said, I've been using this product (I usually mix ice and steel blue) for years and have never had a problem like this.

Great product that works well. The tone of the hair is very beautiful. I have found that there is a difference in performance with this product when it is too old as it takes more time and 2 uses to get the same results. However, there are no problems with this order.
