I recommend this for cats, but I also don't recommend leaving pets inside unattended. We have moved and cannot let our cats into a new place; They just sat on the steps of the stairs, our fenced yard where we used to live, but missed. They sat at the windows and meowed to get out. After trying harnesses and leashes, I researched different things I could use for cats outside. they both hated it. They like to sit in and be outside. In fact, a cat runs around and meows when it wants to get out of it; once a day seems to be enough for them. If possible I would give 4.5 stars. The only problem with this is the attachments for the ends. You must be careful when opening and closing the end; The nozzle falls down and can easily be lost if you are careless. If there is an improvement I would recommend a real door at the ends.
