I'm a young woman who, to be honest, knows little about car care. But what I do know is that these filters shouldn't be expensive, and you definitely shouldn't let your dealer charge you $40 to replace each filter. I always get extras when I take my car for an oil change. So if my filters need changing, I do it myself and tell them if I'm giving my car away so they don't even try to sell me a new one. It was very easy to install; literally in a few minutes. The most frustrating part is pinching the little latches in the glove box to remove the lid, but that's all you have to do. Remove the cap, take out the old filter, insert the new filter and put the cap back on. If I can do it, so can you! Save money and do it yourself!
