I really wanted to like it, but over time I realized that it is actually dangerous for the wild cats that I feed and sing with it. I didn't turn it on at first because we had a warm fall and winter. When the weather finally got cold enough to freeze, I turned it on and found it got very hot. So hot I burned myself on the metal bowls that came with it. I keep it and still use it, but don't turn it on on days when the temperature is above freezing. Hope it doesn't burn the cats.
