I have an expensive fat tire e-bike worth over $1500. I wanted the most secure lock. The Abus top U-lock was just too limited due to the thickness of the bike. I have chosen the best and safest alternative. this folding lock. I understand the security limitations of folding locks versus U-locks. Abus gave it a 15th rating, as did the corresponding top U-lock, but it only gets 2 stars in the ACE tests when the U-lock gets 3 stars. It's just not that safe. But I park the bike at night so that in most cases it is not "alone" for long. The processing quality is very good. The handling always seems very solid. The rubber coating allows me to explore different places without damaging or scratching the bike. The lock holder/holder is universal, with Velcro straps. It comes with two keys, one with LED light. But to be honest I only use the plain one because I like everything to be as streamlined as possible. After a month of use, the lock has enabled me to secure my bike in many different places and shapes. lock successfully This turned out to be the perfect solution for me.
