A few years ago I bought a couple of Lenovo G50 laptops. We didn't use them much until Covid struck and had to use one for distance learning. The daughter complained about the slow work. I took a closer look and found that the laptop only has 4GB of RAM (the minimum for Windows 10 64-bit). I ended up buying the exact same brand, speed, etc. When this happens, studies have shown that this offers the highest chance of a successful upgrade. The product was received early (only 2 days). Installation took about five minutes. (Note that there was a YouTube video on this model which made it easier to understand as the process is slightly different than desktop storage). The device now has 8 GB of RAM and performs significantly better. At $15 it was a very economical upgrade. TIP: If you currently only have one module and two slots, as is the case with Lenovo, the module may be marked DOWN as opposed to the module already installed.
