Review on Tripp Lite Portable Inverter PINV1000 by Wesley Bell

I am using a compact 1000W Tripp Lite portable inverter with a 12V sealed lead acid battery that is charged with my home built solar panel system. And so far it's working very well. If you want to use this inverter in the same way, please remember that any inverter over 400W must be properly grounded. I put together a solar power system because last year we had power outages for more than a week after a severe storm hit our town and we relied on a couple of inverters that I own to provide the needed power for the lights and the... Supply charging devices. And this compact 1000W portable inverter from Tripp Lite is perfect for this type of setup, as it comes with comprehensive power management, dual AC outlets and a USB charging port. I also like the on/off button, very handy. Because it is not necessary to turn off the inverter to cut off the power. So glad I'm taking a second one and definitely recommend it.
