It's always hard to tell the size of something from an online description, but the business end of these hemostats is larger than I anticipated. So these aren't going to do delicate, tiny work. But they're perfectly fine for many other tasks. I purchased them specifically to change my nose ring and I was able to accomplish this, though it would have been easier with hemostats that had a much smaller, precision tip. Regardless, these are fairly priced. Hard to say how they'll hold up over the long haul.
