Review on Dogo Trapper Hat Cat Puppy by Dawn Kraft

It's difficult to rate this item. I measured my dog's head as per the instructions and it was clearly in the 'medium' size range. When the item arrived it was MUCH small. The flaps running under the chin didn't even match together, let alone overlap enough to hold the little hat in place. I was very disappointed because the hat itself was very cute and beautifully made with quality materials. I returned the product and was quickly refunded to my Revain account. I'm considering ordering another one in large. I checked the tag on the hair that was sent to me and it said "medium" but measuring from one end of the cap to the other along the cap where it goes under the chin was not enough to get the cap measurements to cover The chart is for a size "M" so I'm wondering if this particular hat was mislabeled. I gave 4 stars because of the wonderful quality of the product - just be careful with the sizing! Also, it doesn't really cover the dog's ears - be aware of that. I have a Basset Hound and I need something to keep his ears warm when we go out in the very cold weather. It might not work for that.
