Review on USA-Made Boka Ela Mint Natural Toothpaste - Nano-Hydroxyapatite for Sensitivity and Remineralizing | Dentist Recommended | Fluoride-Free | 4oz by Tina Brown

All other toothpastes are worse!

Anytime I travel and can't take a large tube of Boka Ela Mint with me, I enjoy my first brushing when I return home. I feel like my teeth are never completely clean when I use anything other than Boka toothpaste. I have to say that this toothpaste needs some adjustment. It doesn't foam and doesn't have the "minty-fresh" (read: astringent) feeling of standard commercial toothpastes. These are the marketing gimmicks we associate with a clean mouth and they don't really help your oral hygiene at all. Is it a "fresh" feeling? This is caused by the addition of alcohol - obviously bad for oral hygiene. Boca does not use any of these techniques. With Boka Ela Mint, my teeth FEEL clean all day and my breath has never been so fresh. Again, it will take a bit of reprogramming from the standard features of big brand toothpastes, but it's worth it. I don't know much about nanotechnology, but I KNOW my gums are terribly sunken and every time I go to the dentist she asks me if I have tooth sensitivity (in a way that makes it clear what she's suggesting I do MUST have sensitivity because this problem is serious) and I honestly don't know. She also complements my oral hygiene every time I'm there. I attribute it all to toothpaste. I love it and won't be going back. The only thing that confuses me is that it is not suitable for travel!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
