Product came with screws and end caps. Using a level, I first installed the outside screws by extending the legs 90 degrees from the table. Then, with the legs "locked" in the open position, I screwed in the brackets. This worked well to keep the legs straight in the open position. The problem is that the mount is slightly curved so the legs can't fold onto the table. And if you straighten the curve, the protrusions that lock the legs open are too far from the other mount's lock and locking when open is impossible. It's not a big problem since we keep this table outside and use it almost all the time. But if you have to transport the table folded up, I would choose a different product.
