Our family home is of Asian origin and I read the reviews before buying this rice cooker. We had Tatung, Sanyo, and Zojirushi products, so we weren't sure about the brand at first. We mainly cook Haiga rice (short grain rice) which is Asian style rice. The reason we chose this stove was because it used a ceramic inner pot and also had multiple settings. The quality of the rice preparation impressed the family as the rice came out perfect, not raw or dry. There were no burned areas and the rice cooking was consistent and even. The ceramic inner bowl is a plus given the absence of Teflon, which is very common in rice cookers. In general, the purchase is very satisfied.
