I bought one of these because I've had a lot of Autometer gauges over the years and have always liked them. I thought it would be a great tool and it took about a week. When trying to check the air pressure in the tire, the rubber O-ring in the cartridge came out. The first time I was able to find it and put it back, but the next time it was lost. Tried making a new one, tried using o-rings, even took apart some old ones and tried to clean the rubber o-ring there. Some of them worked for a while but in the end they all failed. I emailed Autometer 3 times asking if they sell a replacement cartridge but they never responded. Unfortunately, as much as I would love to have/use this instrument, it has now become junk and I still use my cheap HF instrument.
