Best area rug pad. on my review.

Better than expected. Nice quality. Fit perfect. I wanted the 1/2 in thick one, but took the website advice that the 1/4 inch was better for a smaller pad (5X7) in a heavily used area was the better choice. Lower profile would prevent the toe stub trips & wear on the binding along the edges. It is a very soft walk even with the thinner pad.Perfect trim, rug binding edge fell over the edge of the pad so the pad does not show. Planning on buying another for foyer rug. Also, it does not slide at all - where pad in on wood floor or rug is on pad. Very nice.

Pros

PROTECTION: Catches contaminants that fall through rug, and scratch floor as rug shifts, as well as absorbing impact.

Cons

Can trap moisture under the rug

I purchased 2 sizes of these rug pads. They seem to work pretty well. I did have to cut them just a bit to fit my rugs They do tend to slide on a wood floor. Overall, they seem to work ok.
