I love Ruggable for its washability, especially with dogs and rural living. But I really wanted a more comfortable rug for our great room and was considering Ruggable's thicker pad they began offering for their rugs. Anyone who has a Ruggable knows that they are basically similar to a thin tarp.and they feel that way as well. Beautiful, yes. Washability is wonderful, yes. But the feeling underfoot with their regular pad is not there. Well if you have a washable rug you have to give up something

Bought for a runner in kitchen on tile floor. Wanted thicker pad than I would normally order since in kitchen sink/counter area. Had to trim a bit off edge but knew that when ordered. Adds much comfort to a thinner rug. At first the rug stood a bit "high” since pad quite thick but rug has settled fine on top of it. Pleased with purchase.

The pad is dense and does not slip on the concrete pad I used it on. We converted a little concrete space under the stairs to a reading nook. This pad makes it possible to sit and lay down on the floor. I would highly recommend this pad for surfaces that need a little extra cushion.

The pad is thick enough, but I wish it were softer. My rug just barely overhangs, maybe 1/4" all the way around, so you can see the pad underneath as you walk up to it. Also, the pad will move slightly before gripping to the floor. This review is just based on one day of use. Time will tell if these circumstances improve or worsen(e.g., the pad may soften over time, the pad's grip on the rug may prove to be insufficient, etc.)

Padding arrives in easy to manage box and readily unfolds and takes shape within a few minutes. Works well on hardwood floors and provides some cushioning under carpet. Can be trimmed with a good pair of scissors and straight edge. Padding comes in many different sizes.

Very dense cushion and sticks well to the hardwood floor. It made a cheap rug very comfortable for my girl’s room, where she and her friends play in the floor a lot. Minus a star for the price, but in all, I think it’s clearly worth it if it’s in a location you care about.

Better than expected. Nice quality. Fit perfect. I wanted the 1/2 in thick one, but took the website advice that the 1/4 inch was better for a smaller pad (5X7) in a heavily used area was the better choice. Lower profile would prevent the toe stub trips & wear on the binding along the edges. It is a very soft walk even with the thinner pad.Perfect trim, rug binding edge fell over the edge of the pad so the pad does not show. Planning on buying another for foyer rug. Also, it does not slide at…
