I saw this on a YouTube video blog of someone recovering from surgery. They recommended a tall water bottle with a long straw. Because of covid and all of the floating germs I wanted something where I could cover the top of the straw I did not want it to be exposed when I wasn't using it. During my last hospitalization for surgery. I kept this in the bed with me at all times. The nurses would bring me and open cup of ice water while I'm flat on my back and tell me to drink it with my medicine. I poured the water in my handy bottle, pop the straw open without even having to touch it and I was able to drink from a reclining position, they did not have to sit me up or make me uncomfortable for me to drink. Now that I am back to work I do wish that it was double insulated so that I don't get all of the condensation. But it is still a very good quality product.
