Review on Honda Accord Civic EX Pilot Key Fob Shell Replacement - 4 Button Keyless Entry Remote Case Car Key Housing (Casing Only) by Tony Addis

I bought to replace a broken key fob on my 2005 Honda Pilot. My key was knocked completely out of the case. I have replaced the battery in the key fob 2 times on each of my key fobs (the first time I made the mistake of not doing anything myself but paying $75 at the Honda dealership just to change the battery damn it!) . I almost sent this item back because I couldn't attach the small part that fits onto the key (this part is hidden once installed) to match and align the holes. After reading other sellers instructions/guides on the Revain sales pages I realized that you need to place it on the tip of the key and slide it down to get the holes to line up. This kit does not come with paper instructions. I had the same problem as the other reviewer - it didn't fully close once everything was in place. Eventually it struck with enough pressure. The last problem arose where the screw was too long. Like the other reviewer, if I keep screwing it all the way down the pages will open again. So I unscrewed it just enough to make sure the sides are closed, but the screw head is still sticking out. i think i will keep it. IDK whether another manufacturer/seller has a better screw or not.
