Review on 🌬️ Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM: Superior Quality 4-Pin Quiet Fan - 92x14mm Brown by Chris Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great for 7 months

Update: Bought another one, much quieter but still buzzing. Replaced the Y-cable but it still makes noise. Oddly enough, only 1 of 2 fans hums with me. Both Noctua fans are connected with the same cable. I cleaned the dust off the fan with a rag; I put my whole car back together and now the fan is humming. When I turn the fan off, my machine makes (almost) no noise, so I know it's the fan. I tried pushing the fan a little to make sure nothing was loose, everything looked tight. Nothing rubs, the housing does not vibrate. Somehow I must have stuffed dust into the grate and now it's buzzing. I guess it's my fault, but maybe you shouldn't screw things up so easily. And I don't feel like it should make that much noise with so little dust. I'm really not going to take my motherboard apart again just to fix this problem. All my other case fans are also Noctua, CPU fans too and haven't had any problems so far. I think they are cheap enough I might just order another one. Be warned, I will never attempt to clean these fans unless you wish to add some lube at the same time.
