Quiet, efficient and reliable

I use 2 Noctua fans on my multimedia PC. This is a Mini-ITX case with an ATX power supply. This leaves very little space inside for bulky coolers! Noctua's low-profile CPU cooler uses this exact 90mm fan model. I built this PC almost 7 years ago and I never changed the Notua fan on the CPU cooler! I clean my system about every 6 months and remove dust, but have never oiled the fan since I installed it. To my surprise, he did not disappoint! I've turned the fan by hand several times and it still

Pros
  • Includes anti-vibration mounts, fan screws, low noise adapter, extension cable and Y-cable to connect two PWM fans to one port
Cons
  • Low serviceability

Fur. bloated. best in case fan

I tried to modify your GPU cooler with one of these fans. I chose the slim version to make sure it would fit in the case. In short, even though the fan is directly on the heatsink and centered over the GPU, it didn't improve heat dissipation at all. I tried games at the highest resolution I could run them at 1070 and the heat from this fan was higher than the fan. I think I can increase the fan speed, but it seems like this defeats the purpose of being less noisy and not as cool. I'll try…

Pros
  • 4-pin PWM version for automatic speed control via 4-pin PWM fan connectors, wide speed range 500-2200 rpm (max. 1700 rpm with low-noise adapter included)

Worked great for 7 months

Update: Bought another one, much quieter but still buzzing. Replaced the Y-cable but it still makes noise. Oddly enough, only 1 of 2 fans hums with me. Both Noctua fans are connected with the same cable. I cleaned the dust off the fan with a rag; I put my whole car back together and now the fan is humming. When I turn the fan off, my machine makes (almost) no noise, so I know it's the fan. I tried pushing the fan a little to make sure nothing was loose, everything looked tight. Nothing rubs…

Pros
  • Premium Silent Fan 92x92x14mm 12V 4pin PWM Max 2200rpm Max 19.9dB(A) >150k MTTF
Cons
  • Reliability

Expensive but very quiet fan

This fan is surprisingly quiet. All I hear is the wind blowing through them when I put my ear to them; The engine makes no noise, does not rattle, does not hum. It is excellent! It's so quiet my other "quiet" fan is now making noise. Definitely worth the money if you're looking for the perfect silent PC. If quiet isn't your number one goal, however, this is an expensive fan. Installation was a little tricky, probably because I installed it as a GPU fan and not a case fan as intended. I have…

Pros
  • Award-winning 92 x 14mm A-Series fan with flow acceleration channels and Advanced Acoustic Optimization frame for superior quiet cooling
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
