Review on 1997 2001 Cherokee Release Cable Handle by Gerald Hill
Had to buy two and they still didn't work
As Mopar no longer makes this part for our 22 year old Jeep we had to buy this part after we had a broken wire on the hood. The first cable also broke almost immediately so the seller made a quick return/exchange. But even the second one didn't fit quite right as it was about 1/4-1/2 inch longer so we still couldn't get the hood latch to work properly. works but with great difficulty It was not quite the correct size despite claiming to be a direct OEM replacement for our specific part number.
