Like every JKU owner, I also experienced a door removal process that resulted in a gust of wind opening the door fully and BAM! The rear-view mirror made a nice dent in the hood. However, I found that these beauties both fill the need for cosmetic dent resistance and provide solid support against future impacts. They look good, the glue works well and they cover old dents. Shame on Jeep for not coming up with a better hood design (read: the ability to remove and replace without soldering), but until then, great job Rugged Ridge. They were also cheaper than the Quadratec that sealed the deal.
