.but they didn't last long. I bought two of these and am glad I did. A month later, the first stopped transmitting sound correctly. The sound was either turned off completely or was in mono. If you gently press on the cables where they plug into the jack the audio will cut and drop out so it's definitely an issue with the adapter itself. I use this with an Xbox controller with a headset adapter btw. The second one took a little longer but it's been 4 months now and this one has the same issues as the first one. This is the third brand I've tried in the last 2 years; Obviously these 4 pin Y splitters just aren't built to last. I'm buying my 4th brand today and I'm hoping it will last over a year.
