I am using this printer with Linux Mint 19.1. The printer manual and FAQ pages can be found online (a range, not a single model) and are very helpful to use. So far I've been able to print a high quality PDF (VERY fast!) and scan multiple high quality documents into a single PDF. Setup was pretty easy, just remove a bundle of blue tape, 2 pieces of orange cardboard and 2 "flags" with paper instructions to help you out, take out the ink cartridge (it's inside the printer), shake it, pull pull the length out of the plastic tab, reinsert the ink cartridge, add paper, plug it in, etc. It's pretty simple. I *love* the design of the printer from a technical point of view: it's very easy to use, hard to break, parts are intuitive to move with your hands, etc. It feels solid. By default, the printer has a WiFi hotspot where you can log in with the password 12345678. You can then access the printer as if through a router. Your browser by IP: 192 168 223 1 (with dots - must not post urls) after you connect and change the settings (e.g. WiFi password) there. I disabled this hotspot and only use USB. I installed the driver from their website (again, don't post urls here). You just extract the files, run the setup shell script and you're done, it's very quick. To set up the printer, go to Start -> Administrative Tools -> Printers, click Add, and then select the Pantum printer from the list. . When connecting via . USB or WIFI, you will see it listed (for WIFI it is under "Network Printer"). It will then "search" for your driver and, if you already have it installed, through. Script above, it will work automatically. Now you can print as usual, select Pantum from the list etc. You can customize the settings and defaults etc in this printer app by changing its properties. To scan, use the Start app -> Graphics -> Easy Scan. This gives you a variety of options for how you want to scan your files, including scanning multiple pages and later merging them into one PDF. The small button bar can definitely take some work, it's not very easy to use. Luckily, I've found that you don't really need anything (I just do everything from my PC). I would recommend just not touching it lol you will be happier.
