I fitted this to our chicken coop door which opens at the bottom edge which allows the door to lie flat on the ground. I figured being able to lift the door would make cleaning easier as you won't be reaching through the door. I was right, but my wife just wants everything to work so she doesn't have to be careful. She then tried to close the door before the hinge was fully engaged. This bent the hinge, making it difficult to use. I'm going to replace them with hinges that slide out sideways from a captive pin. Then no chance for binding and bending.
