The paint is worn but the design is perfect

These HINGES are AWESOME! They open up the possibility of some really cool joints. I found them while researching how to connect two boards with corn holes and still take them apart. The paint is chipping a bit but I'm too happy with it to knock off my glasses. The metal holds up very well to the pressure I subject them to.

Pros
  • Door Hardware & Locks
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Like these things on door hardware and locks

These amazing things. Very easy to install - I used tape to hold them in place while opening and closing the case with its current hinges, then drilled holes, installed and cut the old hinges. This is for a euro portable rack that I'm building from an aluminum chassis and assembly would be a lot more difficult without them. They are easy to attach/detach and hold securely. 100% I will use them in the future, they are great.

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • No productivity

It's easy to damage if you're not careful.

I fitted this to our chicken coop door which opens at the bottom edge which allows the door to lie flat on the ground. I figured being able to lift the door would make cleaning easier as you won't be reaching through the door. I was right, but my wife just wants everything to work so she doesn't have to be careful. She then tried to close the door before the hinge was fully engaged. This bent the hinge, making it difficult to use. I'm going to replace them with hinges that slide out sideways…
