When installing this kit on two cars, a 2011 Cadillac CTS and a PT Cruiser, I encountered a problem with the length of the wires. The CTS was tricky because of how tight all the dashboards fit into the rear wiring and how big the car is. I had to mount it under the back seat and put the first point of light at an angle from the seat to the floor to make it work, and then have about 3 inches of wiring visible while stretching it to its limit to make it up after in front. The lights are nice and look good, but they also cut out road vibration if you don't have road noise-cancelling music. In addition, the remote control worked a good 10 minutes after installation. I returned the machine to the buyer and they said the remote was already broken but they are ok with that because they bought the kit and will only use the wired control. The app was also fuzzy and rarely worked unless the phone was almost a touch controller.
