This is less of a shaving cream and more of a face lube. It's clear, doesn't last long and my razor just glides over my facial hair instead of clogging with gel. I can see where I'm shaving and my face is as smooth as any analogy you're trying to give here. I bought it as a supplement on a whim but would definitely buy it again as it is so much better than gels or creams.
