I didn't think I was picky, had very low expectations of a chair in this price range and was still disappointed. The first day my lower back hurt a lot. Its shape forces my back to bend and has no lumbar support. I tried blankets, pillows, changing clothes and couldn't get comfortable. I tried it for a week, determined to make it work, and I've never had a chair hurt my back on purpose. I'm 20, never had back problems, 5'11, 180 lbs. I was just sitting in a chair for maybe 4 hours at a time and it was still awful. My wife tried it too, she is about 5ft 5 inches tall, weighs 120lbs and also had back pain. I cannot recommend this office chair. I returned the chair and ordered the Modway Task chair and felt instant relief in my lower back with real lumbar support.
