This vinyl is the most uncomfortable vinyl I have ever used. First, as other reviewers have documented, the first 6 inches or so was damaged. Second, when I unrolled it a bit to stick it on the mat, the vinyl peeled off its backing because it went from wavy to flat. I have never had this problem with any other vinyl. Third, parts of the vinyl will lift up during cutting as the bond between the vinyl and its substrate is very weak, so you end up with imperfect/uncut areas. Your project, the vinyl adheres very well. I've applied it to glass and plastic and it stuck well to both. One of the jars is a glass water bottle which is moved between fridge and room temperature every day so I was concerned that condensation might weaken or damage the vinyl but so far the vinyl hasn't suffered at all. Although I haven't washed it in the dishwasher and don't intend to. In summary, this is a great product once you put it on and at a great price, but I don't think it's worth all the hassle of cutting. That. I will not repurchase this item once it runs out.
