I put it all the way back with the rear seats folded down. The mesh screen will also work perfectly and I am thankful for this updated version. The barrier I bought provides good airflow so once again I'm happy with the opening of the mesh in the liner. I also have a fan that is USB powered and I tether it to the barrier for extra airflow. My largest dog is a four-legged Wookiee. 😉 The balaclava seems solid and the dimensions and specs seem to be exactly the same as the balaclava I received and if you open the picture you can see the fold down safety flap.
