I just put this on my bike and was having a really hard time holding the phone base. I tried to tighten it as hard as I could and it was still moving. I tried overtightening it I think and the nut broke. I was very upset that I couldn't tighten it properly. I just got another nut from another phone holder for my car that fits. It's MUCH better quality and actually secures the phone holder perfectly, leading me to believe the problem is with the mother and not the holder or something. Stupid thought because I need this screw for my car mount. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because apart from the broken nut/loose nut I really liked the holder. Works great with my iPhone 6 in a symmetrical case about 0.5 inch thick. Maybe I can get another nut somewhere. Update: The seller contacted me and offered a solution. I was told that the lack of voltage was due to a defective nut. They sent me a replacement and now that the tension is perfect I am very happy with the product and have no more issues.
