On the day of installation it was louder than my previous Zoeller pump. But it was still forgivable. Today, however, after a heavy downpour, I went downstairs to see the plastic casing of the pump being flung aside and the inside of the pump lying next to it, inevitably flooding the basement. So here are my suggestions for all readers: 1. Don't skimp on a plastic drain pump2. Invest in a durable cast iron or stainless steel pump for the long term.3. I have a backup pump but I didn't change the battery in time so don't ignore the backup pump if you have one and if you don't invest in one.4. I gave this pump two stars as it worked as expected when it worked but the normal lifespan of this pump should not be 10 months. So save your money and waste of time and invest in a sturdy and literally heavy swamp. Pump. And don't forget a backup swamp if you don't have one.
