Eureka! I've finally found the perfect land tarantula enclosure! I've spent a lot of money on cheaper cases only to find that they don't work as well as I had hoped and I have to buy something else. I know it's part of a hobby, but it can get very expensive. So do yourself a favor and buy these aviaries because they will be the last aviaries you buy for a specific tarantula. I like the fact that the screen cover is fixed when it slides and snaps into place. The strainer is metal, not mesh, so there's no risk of your T catching its toes in the mush or chewing through and running away. They are very well built and I also like the fact that they can be stacked. And even when stacked on top of each other, they are designed to supply air to the hull on the underside. As can be seen from the figure, the depth of the edging is sufficient to regulate the depth of the substrate depending on the trantel. I am so excited that I finally found the perfect Trantula aviary that I will be buying more to convert all of my ground tarantulas into these aviaries.
