Our case looked great and fit perfectly. But about two weeks ago, towards the end of January, I needed to get something out of the RV. I opened the lid over the door and looked up to see that there was a hole in the lid about 5 inches long where it came out over the edge of the RV. I made pieces of thick leather to fit around the edges to prevent this. I then checked the other 3 corners and they were all torn along with the torn spot on the A/C. I didn't look anywhere else, I just untied everything, took it off the RV and put it on another cargo trailer. If our spring weather turns bad I'll take it apart and try to fix it. It hasn't even been 4 months and it's useless. I've had a cheap tarp on it for 6 months and the tarp hasn't torn. No I haven't contacted the manufacturer, I can't imagine a different lid would stand up to anything else.
