Although this product was not originally intended for use on cars, I have found it to be the only product that actually works. I found out about this product after googling "car water spot removal" and saw a professional blog touting the benefits of this product. I decided to try this as I had water spots that wouldn't go away - tried everything (Meguiar's Water Spot Remover removed spots but required a lot of work. many hours of rubbing in and I gave up after two hours and just did part one table quarters). I washed and dried the car and then used the CRL Water Spot Remover, small spots at a time. Apply the product to a cloth (wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses as it is an acid) and rub in. Within 90 seconds you can see the water stains in that area dissipate. Rinse and dry the area before proceeding to the next section to ensure the product is completely removed (you do NOT want this product to remain on painted surfaces for too long). The whole car was ready within 90 minutes. You must wax your car right after using this product as it removes all the wax along with water stains (I use Turtle Wax ICE - a great product as you can use it all over the car without leaving white marks). I used less than a sixth of a bottle on my car - GREAT STUFF!
