Because the Small Pet Select (SPS) hay I bought in the summer of 2017 was fragrant, pliable and soft, I subsequently placed several orders totaling 50 pounds of SPS Second Cut-hay abandoned. To my great disappointment, the hay brought in since the summer turned out to be bad more than once. Judging by the photos below, the hay smelled stale, it was rough and sharp like straw and dry like there was no moisture in it. How SPS claims to actually hand harvest hay for sale I will never know. My rabbit won't eat it. I had to return most of the hay recently ordered. If SPS hadn't provided the good hay I would have given this product 1 star. SPS must understand that its "money back guarantee" is meaningless if it cannot guarantee the consistent quality of its hay products. No pet owner wants to deal with a refund/replacement when their pets are starving. Customers want 100% consistent hay quality (as advertised) that pets will love to eat and pet owners will be happy with. If SPS Heu continues to disappoint I should look elsewhere.
