More suitable for toddlers than babies. The silicone does not come off.
Fork and spoon are lightweight and the handles are comfortable to hold. The width of the utensil is a little wide, so it's more suitable for toddlers than babies who are just learning to eat, as the spoon may be a little wide for their mouth. The silicone is smooth and slightly flexible, so it's gentle on the skin. Maybe the attached "instructions" was wrong because it refers to "Tether". Since the silicone doesn't come off the wood it seems they are best hand washed and it is desirable that they come off which would make cleaning that much easier. All in all a nice set to add to my daughter's daily change when she is a little older.
