The hooks cannot support a total luggage weight of more than 25 pounds.

These hooks can hold over 200 pounds each?!?! LOL This is comedy gold. I used this strap in my lunch bag for work which I carry a small Jambox Bluetooth speaker, an iPad mini, a 24 ounce bottle of RTIC of coffee, a battery charger for my iPhone and some loose change and other small items and overall wear weighs less. over 30lbs and BOTH hooks broke. And thanks to the first hook, which broke my speaker, water bottle, and iPad, they were damaged when they fell down the metal stairs at work. I wouldn't put this product in my bag again if they gave me a free lifetime supply. The first hook broke after 6 months of use and the second broke just today.
