I bought this for a few reasons. I needed a larger air-fryer and wanted to replace other small appliances with one unit if possible. This has a lot of functions, and I haven't used them all. I have air-fried, toasted, keep warm, reheated, baked, bagel. It replaced a toaster oven, round air-fryer, toaster, and microwave (microwaves aren't good for you, needed the counter space anyway).The 'toast' function does crisp the edges (not burnt, just crunchy) but it replaced a toaster-on-the-counter. It takes 5 minutes for 'the way I like it' which is just enough time to fry some eggs or prep sandwich goods. This holds six cupcakes or a square bake pan, I seldom need more than this and I don't have to run the large oven.I air-fry seasoned (Italian seasoning, garlic powder, little oil) carrots, add seasoned potato chunks 5 minutes later, then toss in frozen vegan meatballs the last 5 minutes, takes 15-20 minutes, one pan, no fuss. As it cooks I can chop a salad or tidy the kitchen, then enjoy a pleasant meal. This unit is big enough for me to not overcrowd the veggies if I have company - I usually cook just for myself.It's easy to read and use - don't need my reading glasses on 'if I squint'! So many appliances have small print that can challenge 'ease of use'. . Okay, easy enough for Granny to use. :)
