I bought these because I teach my kids how to wash and the color coding is helpful - they are actually a great size for that and hold a surprising amount of light baby clothes. However adult underwear (jeans etc.) is heavier overall and the handles came loose the first time I picked them up with adult clothing on. I managed to reinforce them with a zig zag stitch on a sewing machine. They'll do the job I need them for, but they won't last long. I recommend using a different product that has the handles supported on the bottom or outside rather than just being (poorly) sewn into the top piping (which isn't sewn onto a pair straight out of the box). I think the $4 I paid was too much. I could get the best product at the dollar store. UPDATE: I've been trying to get it to work for about 6 weeks without much success. If I don't treat them with kid gloves, they'll only get worse. The handles and grille are also torn, the wire supports have come loose and are sticking out in the channels. Absolutely useless.
