Background: I have a 5 month old baby who sleeps in his own crib. The monitor I used was a Motorola baby monitor. This Hubble is definitely an upgrade over the Motorola monitor. The camera itself has a mount and then it's magnetic so you can easily change the angle and the whole camera. I have no problem moving it at a certain angle. A few features I like: - The camera has a night light and can play sounds (be they preloaded sounds ranging from white noise to sea waves and lullabies) so no need for a sound machine or a night light The room - quality at day and pretty good at night. I have no complaints. Accessing the channel through your phone gives you even higher resolution than what you see on the monitor! - The application has a subscription that I did not purchase. But even without a membership I can still go back and watch clips of any motion detected, which is great to see when the baby is actually awake - the portable part is very handy. It is very similar to Motorola! I like that I can leave the sound on but turn off the video so I can get a good night's sleep. With the laptop I can talk, change the tones and colors of the night light - the camera looks quite elegant - if you have another Hubble camera (sold separately or included in the kit) you can connect it to the monitor and watch 2 videos the same time. ! You can connect up to 4 monitors which is great. - It notifies you when the monitor runs out of battery in the middle of the night so you don't miss watching your baby. - It notifies you with a loud beep. Noise when your camera goes offline, which I like for security reasons. So I'm not worried in the middle of the night — if your Wi-Fi goes down during the night, the portable monitor still lets you stream. - The app allows 2 people to log in. I love that my husband or I can see the baby through the app when we're not at home. Overall I really liked this product and would definitely recommend it. It's very easy to set up and use!
