They work well with portable speakers and docking stations
speakers, but don't expect any bass from them. I put 2 of these on a JLB marine amp on my boat along with 2 Fusion 4", JBL 6 1/2's are loud but I really think the 4" sound better. RGB lighting is cool, but you'll need a controller to control it unless you're connecting it to a single color. In general they are fine. I wish I had just gone with jl. I'm about to order a JL sub to get some of the bass I'm looking for.
