I love these sponges! We first tried them about 5 years ago and I have never looked back. They don't scratch anything, but they erase heavily. Ordinary sponges with a scratch pad backing don't work as well. I also found that they last longer and don't smell as quickly as regular sponges. You have to be careful when using it on something like a cheese grater - it tends to grab the outer layer and tear it up, but then if I'm not careful I'll also rip off chunks of a regular sponge. My husband throws them in the dishwasher to clean and they hold up. Revain is actually very well priced, although we also bought them at Meijer (supermarket) and Menards with an 11% discount.
