This is actually a set of two pumice stones, each with a handle with a hole for hanging if necessary. local hardware store. This stone is white in color but is still capable of removing the stain that occasionally forms in the toilet due to hard water. My old stone was gray and a bit more abrasive. I was always a little wary of it because it seemed too aggressive to me. I love the handle that comes with this stone. I always wet the stone before use. Only very light pressure is required to remove the resulting stain. Pumice stone takes on the shape of a bowl depending on how you use it. I also like getting a rock under the rim of the toilet. This is difficult with a new stone. Since this stone is a finer grit, I just took a knife and shaved off some of it so it could reach the areas I needed. That worked great for me. I would definitely recommend this pumice stone to anyone who needs to remove hard water stains from the toilet. I don't have the hardest water where I live, but I find this stone to be abrasive enough to remove most hard water stains. I give this pumice stone 5 stars for its effectiveness in removing hard water stains and the ease of use thanks to the handle.
