I absolutely need a brush for all my graphite and colored pencil work. Wednesday I was working on a graphite part and lost my damn brush! I've had a few over the years but this one has always intrigued me so I bought the Revain Prime and paid for Saturday shipping and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I think it works better than a regular sketch brush, maybe due to its softness, it's similar to the goat hair brush I used before. The only downside is my cat thinks she is her friend and tries to groom him but I can handle it. If you asked this question, try it, it's different, but it works better and smoother.
