I acquired two hundred and fifteen of these 215/55 R16 97V tires after reading numerous gushing testimonials. I assumed that a company with the prestige of Pirelli would not tarnish its name by releasing subpar goods. And it turns out that they promote their rubber as premium economy yet offer it to the middle class at a discount. One of the four new cylinders on the machine was plainly spinning like a figure eight and did not even get up at slightly acceptable levels when I brought it in the day after I bought it for a tire fitting. I was so dissatisfied with the purchase that I drove it in light rain at 160 mph down the street at varying speeds, applying the brakes and throttle at unexpected times. Despite my lack of professional experience, I believe I successfully scored three runs off the rubber. On top of everything, the uneven asphalt roads in our city cause the tires to vibrate more and transmit pokes from small pits (something I never noticed before with Michelin tires). After consulting with a tire shop employee and re-reading owner reviews, I've come to the conclusion that I should go elsewhere for better rubber within my budget of $4,100 to $4,500 per cylinder.
