I got the white set.It is beautiful. Well sized. Well proportioned and well built. Great Quality.Here are the qualities in more details:Material: It is not bone china. It is porcelain and on a thick side. It is substantial and heavier walled kind of vessel comes to pot and the saucer and mug. The heavier walls was what I was looking for as I wanted an everyday set that could sustain daily use and not be prone to breaking. It is solid. Rock solid. it is similar to thickness to that of coffee cups you find in the restaurant setting. It is really reliable in that regard.While thicker, it it does not take away from it's beauty.Style: It is beautifully proportioned and styled in a very classic set. It goes well with many décor styles as it is on a plain side and yet very stylish. I love how it matches any silverware style and any tray or table setting.Weight:It is pretty heavy but not like super heavy Just well weighted set. It is not wobbly or easy to knock down. It is solid.Uses:I use it mostly for my tray that I can take either to the bedroom or my desk. It is perfectly sized for my needs of one to two cups of tea or coffee. I also sometimes use the parts individually:- the pot is IDEAL for tea essence. If you love loose tea leaves tea like I do then my favorite method of brewing it is to make an essence that is very strong and then just serve it with hot water pot and cups so everyone can pour some tea essence freshly brewed and add as much water to the liking as needed to make a perfect tea. This tinny pot is perfect for this purpose.- the cup is great by itself if or with any larger pot if you need to mix and mingle with other sets you have.It is very good size of a cup. It is not big huge size like you would be one and done. but more like you drink one and then want another mid long and stimulating conversation with your friends.Overall VERY happy with it and I am considering to purchase another set with pattern as because of the quality of the one I own I want to buy second set just for fun. They are all so pretty but I have my eyes set on the blue one for quite some time.I have few nice Tea for one Bone china type of sets but I don't dare to use them for daily teas as they are really delicate and having more solid set it is way less concern that it may get damaged. I find heavier porcelain great for daily use. Just perfect.Buy it, you will love it.
