What tree is it made of?

I recently bought this for my 12 week old Syrian and he was in the cage for about 2 days before he died. If made from cedar or pine, it can be toxic and cause respiratory problems. Because he was so young I'm trying to figure out what caused his sudden death to prevent it from happening again. Many Thanks
